YOUR EVERYDAY IMAGE TOOLKIT

Compress images.
Keep the detail.

Compress JPG, PNG, and WebP images to a target file size or quality level. Preview the result and download individual images or a batch ZIP, entirely in your browser.

Drop your images. Make them yours.

JPG, PNG & WebP · Up to 20 images · 20 MB each · 100 MB per batch
Paste an image from your clipboard, or try the sample.

Your settings

1 KB = 1,024 bytes. The result may be below your limit; very small targets can reduce visible detail.

Higher quality retains more detail and usually makes a larger file.

JPG has no transparency. Transparent pixels use this color.

A little polish. A lot of possibility.

Your image previews and results will appear here. Choose a file or try the sample to get started.

Your images stay on this device.

Three steps. Ready for your next task.

01

Choose your images

Add up to 20 JPG, PNG, or WebP files, drop them here, or paste an image from your clipboard.

02

Set your size limit

Choose 20, 50, 100, or 200 KB, or enter a custom limit. Allow resizing when a smaller image is needed.

03

Compare and download

Review the actual file size and dimensions. Download each image or collect the completed batch in a ZIP.

A size limit, without the guesswork

A quality percentage is not a file-size guarantee. Target mode searches for the highest available quality under your limit. If quality alone is not enough and resizing is enabled, it reduces the dimensions and tries again. Results show the actual bytes and dimensions, and clearly say when the target could not be reached.

A few practical tips

  • Use 100 or 200 KB for an upload with that file-size cap; check the receiving form for its current requirements.
  • For small text or signatures, crop away empty space first with the image resizer.
  • JPG fills transparent areas with your chosen background. Choose WebP when you need transparency.
  • Re-encoding can make an already optimized file larger. Compare the reported sizes before downloading.

Before you get started

Can I compress an image to 20 KB, 50 KB, or 100 KB?

Yes. Choose a preset or enter a custom target between 1 and 10,240 KB. Very small limits can require lower quality and smaller dimensions. This is an upper-size target, not padding to an exact byte count.

Will compression change my image dimensions?

Quality mode keeps the original dimensions. In target-size mode, dimensions change only when Allow smaller dimensions is enabled and lowering quality is not enough. The result always lists its actual dimensions.

Can I compress a PNG without losing transparency?

A PNG can be exported as WebP with transparency preserved. JPG cannot represent transparency and uses the background color you choose. Use the image converter for lossless PNG output.

Is the result guaranteed to be smaller?

No. An input may already be efficiently compressed, and very tight targets may not be achievable with your settings. The tool reports the actual result and tells you if a target was missed.

Are my images uploaded or stored?

No. Image decoding, editing, and exports run on this device. Image files and results stay in page memory and are cleared when you clear the queue or close the page. These image tools load no external analytics or advertising scripts. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them.

What are the image limits?

You can add up to 20 files, 20 MB per file, and 100 MB combined. Each image and output is limited to 32 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. Camera metadata is not copied to the re-encoded output. Animation, original color profiles, and metadata are not preserved. Use a current browser for the best format support.
